Bradley J Radisewitz

August 29, 1951 — December 8, 2024

Bradley Jernette Radisewitz, 73, of Lemoyne, Nebraska, passed away at his home on Sunday, December 8, 2024.

Brad was born on August 29, 1951, in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, to Richard L. and June L. (Storlie) Radisewitz. He spent his early years in Denver, Colorado, before his family relocated to Minnesota in 1968. Brad returned to Wisconsin to live with his grandparents and finish his last year of high school at Chippewa Falls High.

Brad served in the U.S. Army, stationed in Germany, where he worked in communications during the Vietnam War. Following his military service, Brad pursued a career as a car painter, dedicating many years to his craft in the Denver area.

Brad married Judy Lynn Jorgensen on June 13, 1992, in Denver, Colorado. They shared a wonderful life together, and their union only grew stronger with time. The couple first discovered Ogallala, Nebraska, in 1987, drawn by the beauty of Lake McConaughy. What began as weekend visits with a camper grew into a cherished home on the north side of the lake.

Brad was known for his sarcastic and spontaneous sense of humor and loved spending time with their many friends around the lake. He was always happy to jump in and lend a hand to anyone needing help. Whether water skiing, boating, or fishing, he found immense joy in the water. Brad was especially passionate about walleye fishing. When he wasn't in the water, he enjoyed watching the beautiful sunsets across the lake, looking for shooting stars from the beach at night, reading, golfing, skiing, and bowling.

Brad also loved to dance, which was how he met his wife. The two would often share a dance on the dance floor at The Cove or in the living room of their home.

Brad formed lasting and meaningful relationships and was deeply loved by his family and his lake neighborhood family. He will be greatly missed by many.

Brad is survived by his wife, Judy, of Lemoyne; his father, Richard Radisewitz; his siblings Peggy Radisewitz-Weir, Amy (Ernie) Eisner, Cary (Karen) Radisewitz, Melanie (Radisewitz) Lazarz, Kevin (Kimberly) Radisewitz, Jamie (Lisa) Radisewitz, Danny (Kristin) Radisewitz; along with many other relatives and friends.

Brad was preceded in death by his mother, June (Storlie) Radisewitz.

A celebration of Brad's life is being planned for a later date. No inurnment is planned at this time.

Prairie Hills Funeral Home of Ogallala is assisting the Radisewitz family.
