Dayna Seger

Dayna Seger, 67, of Ogallala, a former Scottsbluff resident, passed away at her home on December 4, 2024.

Dayna was born on December 31, 1956, in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, to Larry and Lorraine (Wiege) Lowe. She attended school in Gering before earning her LPN credential, a vocation she devoted herself to for the next 36 years. Dayna's life was blessed with four children: Jennifer, Michael, Mathew, Briana.

With a caregiver's spirit, Dayna worked in and around the Scottsbluff area for many years, including at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center in Cheyenne, Wyoming, and various nursing homes.

Dayna loved the sunshine, lake life, and enjoying an ice-cold Coke whenever she could, especially when those moments were shared with her family. She also loved to paint and had developed quite a skill for scenic landscapes.

Memorial services are being planned for a later date. No inurnment is planned at this time.

Dayna was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Debra "Debbie" Spencer.

Survivors include her children, Jennifer Houseman, Michael Beebe, Mathew Beebe, and Briana Seger; seven grandchildren; her sister, Linda (Duane) Tonniges; her brother-in-law, Chris Spencer; along with many other relatives and friends.
