Edna Lorene (Wagner) Castle, 81, of Ogallala, Nebraska, passed away peacefully on October 14, 2024.
Edna was born August 19, 1943, in Imperial Nebraska to Edward and Bertha (Belau) Wagner. She attended Imperial High School and graduated Class of 1961.
On May 28, 1961, Edna married Earl Castle of Imperial Nebraska. Their union was blessed with three daughters: Gayle, Gina, and Carla. They lived in Grant, Nebraska, for a few years and then moved to Ogallala, Nebraska.
Edna loved people and thoroughly enjoyed her work as the Office Manager for Dana F Cole for many years in Ogallala, Nebraska. Her favorite time of year for work was during tax season when many people were in and out of the office, and she could greet and visit.
Edna was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and three brothers.
Edna is survived by her daughters: Gayle (Rollie) McDaniel of Arvada, Colorado, Gina (Chuck) Saunders of Lewellen, Nebraska, and Carla Castle of Saint Petersburg, Florida. Edna also has three grandchildren: Samantha, Jake, and Alexandra. Edna is also survived by many additional relatives and friends.
Edna's wishes are to be cremated and no funeral service to be held. However, please remember family and friends through your thoughts and prayers.
