Gary Lee Lawrence

Gary L. Lawrence, 69, of Paxton, passed away at Ogallala Community Hospital on November 8, 2024, with his loving daughter, Brenda by his side. Cremation was chosen and there will be no public services held at this time.

He was preceded in death by his father when Gary was only 18; later, he lost his mother; his life's companion Jean Mettler; infant twin boys in 1976; a great-grandson Breylin Pieper, and his sister Marge Schlegel.

Gary is survived by his daughter Brenda Lawrence; granddaughter Alicia (Michael) Leebrick; grandsons Michael and Matthew Pieper; great-grandchildren Annaliyah and Adalyn Leebrick, and Zevlin and Evelyn Pieper; stepdaughter Danielle Gossett; as well as close cousin Sharon Drake of Cumberland, WI. Also left to remember Gary, is lifelong friend, Ron Jay.

Gary had a love, a reverence, and an affection for his family that was evidenced by a quiet conviction.
