Irene Catherine Wolfe

Irene Catherine Wolfe, age 91, a former longtime Ogallala resident, passed away at Tabitha Hospice in Lincoln, Nebraska on October 17, 2015.
Irene was born April 26, 1924, on a farm near Loup City, NE. She married A. E. “PeeWee” Wolfe on January 18, 1946 in Norton, Kansas. She enjoyed working in businesses throughout her life, square dancing, baking wonderful pies and cakes, and being with her family. Irene was a member of the Methodist Church in Ogallala, and a member of St. Mark’s Methodist Church in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Son, Kenneth and Nancy Wolfe of Lincoln, NE
Granddaughter, Jessica and Seth Huenink of Lincoln, NE
She was preceded in death by her husband, son Randy Wolfe, her parents, sisters and brothers.
Cremation was chosen. Graveside services will be held on Friday, October 30, at 12:30 PM CST at the Ft. McPherson National Cemetery south of Maxwell, Nebraska. Memorials may be given in her memory to: St. Mark’s Methodist Church, 8550 Pioneers Blvd, Lincoln, NE 68520; Tabitha Hospice, 4720 Randolph, Lincoln, NE 68510; or New Way Home in care of her family, 2920 S 46th St, Lincoln, NE 68506.
