JANET A. WAGNER, 68 of Lake McConaughy, NE passed away Sunday, May 7, 2017 at her home at Lake McConaughy.
Jan was born November 6, 1948 in Denver, Colorado to John Charles and Ann Bertha (Whyte) Wagner. She graduated from Cherry Creek High School in Greenwood Village, Colorado.
Following her education, Jan worked various jobs in and around the Denver area before becoming the first known female automotive service writer in Denver, which was something she was quite proud of.

Jan was ambitious and resourceful, which were traits that she picked up from her father. In younger years, Jan enjoyed golfing and playing softball. She was also a lifelong lover of dogs. Jan spent nearly 20 years in the Lewellen/Lake MacConaughy area, and cherished the friendships that she made over that time.
Jan was preceded in death by her parents.
