JEANETTE LYNN CAPLINGER, 69 of Ogallala, passed away April 18, 2019, at her home.
Jeanette was born October 25, 1949, at Bloomington, Illinois to Harold Russell and Margaret Dora (Bean) Bell. She attended Mount Pulaski High School, where she graduated with the class of 1967.
Jeanette would eventually meet William "Cappy" Caplinger, and the two were married on September 18, 1969, at Portage, Indiana. Their union was blessed with six children. The couple made their home in Lincoln, Illinois before moving to Springfield, Missouri in 1986. While in Springfield, Jeanette went to work for City Utilities as the first female custodian. She would eventually work her way into a position as a dispatcher. Jeanette and Cappy also owned and operated Koala Cleaning Service together, where they made many wonderful friends over the years. Upon retiring from the utility company in 2013, Jeanette would focus more closely on her faith as a Jehovah's Witness, and became a full-time pioneer minister. Most recently, the couple had been living in Ogallala, to be close to family.
