Josh Vanderpluym, age 42, of Blue Eye, Missouri, passed away September 17, 2017, at his home.
Josh was born on February 12, 1975 in Hamburg, Iowa to Kathy (Eyberg) Bye and Dave Vanderpluym. He graduated from Glenwood High School in 1994. After graduation, Josh worked in construction.
He married Laura Parkinson on November 30, 2002 in Las Vegas, Nevada and they moved to Blue Eye, Missouri, raising their two daughters, Carly and Taylor. Josh was the best dad ever and was dearly loved by everyone who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Todd; and grandparents, Elmer and Darlene Vanderpluym.
Josh is survived by his wife, Laura and daughters, Carly and Taylor of Blue Eye; parents, Kathy (Bob) Bye of Council Bluffs, IA and Dave (Bonnie) Vanderpluym of Sidney, IA; sister Amy (Derek) Mach and their sons Chris and Charlie of Woodstock, IL; grandparents, Gene and Kathleen Eyberg of Atlantic, IA; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, September 21, 2017, at Skyline Sportsmans Club at 2556 150th St. in Thurman, Iowa. Please join us for a luncheon to share stories and remember Josh's life.
