KERMIT D. BROCKMOLLER, 90, of Ogallala, passed away Saturday, September 4, 2021, at Wel-Life Assisted Living in Ogallala, Nebraska.
Kermit was born in Big Springs, Nebraska, on November 19, 1930, to Wilhelm and Johanna Brockmoller.
Kermit served in the United States Marine Corps as MP in Kodiak, Alaska, from 1951 to 1953.
On October 11, 1954, he married Marjorie Uzel, and for a few years, they made their home in Milford, NE, where Kermit attended Milford Vocational Technical School. They then moved to Ogallala, where Kermit worked for TRW and ASC until his retirement in 1995.
Kermit enjoyed woodworking and carving, hunting and fishing, and spoiling his grandchildren.
Survived by two daughters, Brenda Thompson, Kimberly (Jim) Lingbloom, and one son, Bill Brockmoller; Five grandchildren, Tami (Jason) Beauchamp, Kellon (Kaylee) Thompson, Shelby (Dustin) Shelley, Tish (Mike) Jimenez, Jill Lingbloom; four great-grandchildren, Natalee, Jackson, Tucker, and Mason; two sisters, Bonnie Dixon and Wilma Blake.
Preceded by wife, Marjorie; son-in-law, James Thompson; siblings Don Brockmoller, Merna Markussen, Rachel Markussen, and Melpha Barnica.
