Martin Estrada, 57, died peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on June 25, 2016 in San Diego, CA.
Marty was born on June 10, 1959 in Ogallala, NE to Julian and Beatrice Estrada. He married his high school sweetheart Amy Siffring in 1980, and the couple had four children. Marty was a member of St. Peter the Apostle church in Fallbrook, CA and was very involved in the local community. Marty enjoyed playing Santa for several local child development centers and was an active member of the Escondido East Rotary; and the Knights of Columbus.
Marty is survived by his wife, Amy; their children: Rachel (Nicolaus) Estrada Bush, Andrew (Laura) Estrada, Michael (Stacey) Estrada, and Steven (Michelle) Estrada; their grandchildren Kaylee, Julian, Callista, Piper, Owen and Nicholas; his mother Beatrice; and his sisters Emily Peck, Diane Gregg, Sylvia Prather, Theresa Niesen, Catherine Tickle, Carmen Buhrman and Elisa Young. He is preceded in death by his father, Julian.
A Celebration of Life is scheduled for 10:00am, Thursday June 30, 2016 at Alhiser-Comer Funeral Home in Escondido, CA. Rosary and funeral Mass will be held Tuesday July, 5th at St. Luke's Catholic Church in Ogallala, NE at 10:00am. Rosary and Mass will be live streamed by Prairie Hills Funeral Home.
