NANCY BERNICE WATERMAN, 74 of Ogallala, passed away September 10, 2017, at the Ogallala Community Hospital.
Nancy was born December 24, 1942, at Lewellen, Nebraska to Marvin and Edna (Grasz) Courter. She graduated from Ogallala High School with the class of 1962.
On December 30, 1962, Nancy married Kay Waterman at Big Springs. The couple eventually moved to Seattle, where they were both employed at Boeing. A few years later, they returned to Nebraska. Their union was blessed with three children, Virgil, Bryan, and Crystal. Nancy worked at TRW for several years before going to work at Pump & Pantry, eventually retiring in the early 2000's.
Nancy enjoyed spending time working in her garden, reading, crocheting and doing needlepoint. She also fancied jig saw puzzles and listening to Country music.
Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Kay; sister, Carolyn Mueller; and brother, Ernie Courter.
Survivors include her children, Virgil Waterman of Lincoln, Crystal Waterman of Ogallala and Bryan (Angie) Waterman of Auburn, WA; brother, Frank Courter of Lewellen; sister, Francis Pace of North Platte; along with several nieces and nephews.
