Patrick Francis Loop, 57, of North Platte, passed away March 29, 2021, at Bryan Medical Center East in Lincoln.
Pat was born February 11, 1964, in Imperial to Leo Joe and Mary Aidyl (Stohler) Loop. Pat attended school in Holyoke, CO, through the 5th grade and at Lamar, NE through the 8th grade. He attended high school at Imperial before graduating from Paxton Consolidated High School in 1983.
Pat had worked for many years in farming and ranching, eventually transitioning to trucking. He enjoyed his time in the truck and logged countless miles. Lyndon Johnson said that "Peace is the journey of a thousand miles, and it must be taken one step at a time." The final jaunt of his journey was on Monday; it is comforting to know that Patrick has found his peace.
Pat was preceded in death by his father Leo; brother, Andy, and his grandparents, George (Bessie) Stohler and Earl (Mable) Loop.
Survivors include his mother, Mary Aidyl Loop of Paxton; four sisters, Sarah Loop Morse of Imperial, Lydia Loop Lenhart of Roscoe, Mary Loop of North Platte and Veronica Loop of Paxton; five brothers, Earl (Beth) Loop of Imperial, Paul (Katy) Loop of Fallon, NV, Frank (Kelly) Loop of Yuma, CO, Gabe Loop of Lakeside, CA, Gall (Angela) Loop of El Cajon, CA; along with many other nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
