Paul Welsh, age 46 of Grand Island, former Culbertson resident, passed away April 4, 2014 at his home in Grand Island.
Paul was born June 16, 1967 at Ogallala, Nebraska to William and Sharon (Packard) Welsh. He graduated from Culbertson High School with the class of 1986.
Paul had been employed with Case New Holland in Grand Island for 8 years. He had previously worked at Chief manufacturing, where he was involved in building BonnaVilla homes.
Paul enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, fishing and swimming.
Paul was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gerald & Ardath Packard, Elsie & Henry Welsh; 2 uncles, Donald Welsh & Glen Packard; aunt Shirley Packard; great uncle, Donald Packard.
Survivors include his parents, William (Sharon) Welsh of Culbertson; brother, Mike (Susan) Welsh of Grand Island; nephew & niece, Daniel and Heather (Brandon) of Grand Island; great nieces, Katie and Amber of Grand Island; uncles, Jerry Packard of Arthur & Rex Welsh of Denver CO; aunts, Clairel Welsh of Denver, CO & Jean & Norvan Elmshauser of Ogallala; along with a host of cousins.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 16, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Prairie Hills Funeral Home in Ogallala with John Long officiating. Inurnment will be in the Ogallala Cemetery.
