ROBERT KENFIELD, 95 formerly of Brule, passed away Saturday, March 21, 2020, at Ashland, NE.
Robert was born on February 7, 1925, at Albion, NE, to John and Ella (Fritzen) Kenfield. He graduated from Brule High School and later attended Electrical School.
On September 23, 1943, Robert married Helen Pierce at Julesburg, Colorado. Shortly after their nuptials, Robert was sent overseas to serve in WWII. He was discharged in 1946. When Robert returned from the war, Robert and Helen lived in Ogallala, Big Springs, and California over the next ten years. He ended up working for Priesner Electric in Ogallala and then went on to electrical school. In 1961, they started Kenfield Electric in Ogallala and served Ogallala and the surrounding area. Robert also enjoyed hunting and fishing in Nebraska, Colorado and Alaska.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Helen Kenfield and sisters, Donna Burnside, Dorothy Sanford, Ruby Edwards, and Margaret LeZotte.
Survivors include daughter, Fauna (Denny) Quick of Eagle; two granddaughters, Stephanie (Jeff) Ewen of Papillion, Traci Rodriguez of Dothan, AL; and a great-grandson, Jack Ewen of Papillion; twin brothers, Howard and Harvey Kenfield of Ogallala; niece, Sandy (Jim) Amos of Tecumseh; nephews, Steve Edwards of Ogallala, Kenton and Steven Hoover of Big Springs and sister-in-law, Shirley (Roger) Rankin of Ogallala.

A private family graveside will be held Saturday, March 28, 2020, at the Ogallala Cemetery with Pastor Curtis Tschetter officiating.
