SABRINA ADAMS, 40 of Ogallala, passed away November 12, 2018, in York, Nebraska.
Sabrina was born August 18, 1978, at Ogallala, Nebraska to Rodney and Muriel (Geiger) Adams. She attended school in Oshkosh and went on to graduate from high school in Blythe, California.
Sabrina had a kind and loving personality since birth. When she was little, her family jokingly compared her to a "spider monkey" for the way that she would cling to people with both her arms and legs. A sense of connectedness was always something that she treasured, and she found that in her family as well as the daycare children that she was able to look after over the years. Sabrina's life was not an easy one, but she had a resilience and freedom of spirit that allowed her to weather the storms of life. Sabrina was a genuine "cat lady," and her family lovingly teased her about all of the felines that always seemed to turn up at her house, somehow knowing they'd get something to eat if they stuck around long enough.
Sabrina's presence will always be missed among her loved ones, but the warm glow of memories and faith in a resurrected Jesus will forever be of sustaining comfort.
Sabrina was preceded in death by her grandparents, Monford and Harriet Geiger; and an uncle Clark Geiger.
Survivors include her mother, Muriel Adams of Ogallala; siblings, Virginia Howells and her husband, Terry of Ogallala, Eugene Adams of Ogallala, James Adams and his wife, Andrea of Big Springs, John Adams and his wife, Shelli of Sterling, CO; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
