TINA PIERCE, 54, of Ogallala, passed away June 20, 2019, at the Northern Colorado Medical Center in Greeley, CO.
Tina was born October 1, 1964, at Ainsworth, Nebraska to Larry and Bernice (Yott) Allen. She graduated from Ogallala High School with the class of 1983.
On June 28, 1984, Tina married John Pierce. The couple made their home in Ogallala, and their union was blessed with three children. Tina worked at the school in the lunchroom for several years before taking a job as a seamstress at US Aprons. She would eventually take a waitressing position at the Stagecoach, and later, Valentinos.
Tina enjoyed spending restful moments at home watching her favorite TV shows, like The Voice and American Idol. She also loved watching the Weather Channel and Storm Chasers. Tina was a fan of NASCAR racing, enjoyed playing BINGO, and loved to play scratch tickets.
Tina was funny and outgoing. She loved to laugh and would, at times, take pleasure in embarrassing the people around her. Overall, Tina had a zest for life, especially when it came to her grandchildren.
Tina was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her children, Nicole Pierce, Amber (Stevie) Iske, and Thomas Pierce, all of Ogallala; thirteen grandchildren; siblings, Larry (Anita) Allen of North Platte, Carol Hill of Julesburg; along with many other relatives and friends.
A memorial has been established in Tina's memory for later designation. Condolences may be shared at prairiehillsfuneralhome.com.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. at New Hope Church in Ogallala with Pastor Eric Wait officiating. No interment of cremains is planned at this time.
