Victoria Lee Chambers

VICTORIA LEE CHAMBERS, 77 of Ogallala, passed away Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at Ogallala Community Hospital. She was a woman of strong faith and was one of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Victoria was born December 4, 1939 in Albion, NE. She grew up in Neligh, NE where she attended school. She graduated from Chadron State with a BA in History and a minor in Art. She was a writer and artist her whole life. She will be deeply missed.
Victoria was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Chambers; grandfather, George Neal Chambers; and grandson, Neil Gagliano.
Survivors include her seven children, Brenda Shaw of Fair Oaks, CA, Mary Elizabeth (Fran) Ohlsen of Rolling Hills, WY, Kathleen Shaw of Sandpoint, ID, David Lee Shaw of Ogallala, Daniel "Boone" Shaw of Ogallala, Joseph (Lana) Shaw of Ogallala, and Hannah Lee Shaw of Ogallala; sixteen granchildren; and many other relatives.
A memorial has been established in her memory for later designation. Condolences can be shared at prairiehillsfuneralhome.com.
A memorial service will be Thursday, November 9, 2017 at 7:00pm at Kingdom Hall in Ogallala. No interment of cremains is planned at this time.
