Well known Lemoyne, Nebraska resident Winifred A. Meyer, commonly called "Winnie," passed away on January 28, 2021, at the age of 94.
Winnie and Her husband Marvin became long time residents after moving from Denver to Nebraska in 1976. Winnie and Marvin enjoyed fishing at Lake McConaughy. After her husband passed in 2005, she still enjoyed fishing. Winnie also enjoyed her crafts, playing cards, and volunteering at the Senior Center in Lemoyne, Nebraska, and the Petrified Wood and Art Gallery in Ogallala, Nebraska. She attended church and bible study when she was able and became known for her 3-D pictures that she made to sell. Her family's walls are full of those priceless possessions.
Winnie is preceded in death by her husband Marvin and leaves behind two sons. Jerry Meyer and his wife, Judy; granddaughter, Tracy and her husband Stephen; great-granddaughter, Caitlin. Harlan Meyer and his wife Wanda; grandson, Scott and his wife Tiffany; great-granddaughter, Raelyn; granddaughter Kayla and her husband Dalton; great-granddaughter Katie; great-grandson Andrew; grandson David; sister-in-law Wilma; brother-in-law Vernon along with numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
